It rocks!

A few days ago I posted a modified firmware playon acryan! Hd R2901. The modified firmware is basically an improvement on the original and brings support for youtube and search youtube also supports multimedia hard drive Woxter i-Cube 750 MKV.

In case anyone did not install the modified firmware but want to enjoy the improvements of the firmware, here you hints about files that you may have these improvements without having to upgrade the firmware.

The instructions are as follows (only applies to official firmware prior to version r2981 or hacked firmware):

1. Download this file and copy the folder on your hard disk titooo player within the folder has to be other titooo 3 folders (IMS_Modules, scripts and image)
2. Telnet to connect to the player: If you use windows you can do with a program like putty (put in the IP hostname of the player, port 23, telnet and give dial open)
3. The login is root
4. Escribimoslo following and press Enter:
   / Bin / mount-o remount, rw /
   Now the following and press enter (do line by line, not all at once):
   rm-R / usr / local / bin / scripts
   rm-R / usr / local / bin / image
   rm-R / ysr / local / bin / IMS_Modules
   cp-R / tmp/hdd/volumes/HDD1/titooo/IMS_Modules / usr / local / bin /
   cp-R / tmp/hdd/volumes/HDD1/titooo/scripts / usr / local / bin /
   cp-R / tmp/hdd/volumes/HDD1/titooo/image / usr / local / bin /
5. Wrote the following, press enter and close:
   / Bin / mount-o remount, r /

That's it! Now you can use flickr, picasa, news feeds, youtube by searching metafeeds included or having things like blip.tv (sa grace me, lol), hip hop documentaries, music videos or trailers in HD.

I created a firmware for hard disk media player AC Ryan PlayOn! HD is fine. The creation of this firmware has been possible mainly thanks to the users and kawakinho Vonck.

The firmware is based on the latest firmware to date acryan, the v7.06.r2901 . The firmware that I created is the same as the original but quite significant improvements in the section Intertet feeds (internet services).
Furthermore, this firmware is compatible with the multimedia hard drive Woxter i-Cube 750 MKV and is far better than the firmware of Woxter. I sincerely believe that as of today is the best existing firmware for these players.

Improvements over original firmware:

• It has space to install software as transmission or stupidftp by PlugOnDevice or Optware.
• Youtube includes several TV channels, music, science, news, pictures, sports and search Youtube.
• Includes a feed to see the time.
• Obviously maintaining web services already included in the original firmware as news feeds, picasa and flickr.
