It rocks!

INSTALLATION:

-Installed in 22 minutes and without having to do practically anything.

Manageability and usability:

I've only had to install the drivers for the laptop's graphics card, a Geforce Go 7300 (http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/A6Jc/VGA_nVidia_Vista32_070313.zip), and sound as the mic sounded very low (http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/F9E/Audio_Vista32_64_070808.zip).
The rest of the hardware was recognized on the fly: wifi, ethernet, card reader, webcam, sound, etc.. Ubuntu-style

'In short the answer OS is fast and gives feeling of lightness.

The control processor is correct, quiet and warm.

RAM consumption must be well because the system does not crash, or slow at any time

-The system is operated in a very comfortable way. And it's nice how to use both sight. By minimizing windows makes a small effect Compiz style and according to some design is a mixture of Vista and KDE.

PROGRAMS

Windows 7 does not come with "junk" (or at least not much) by default (for example, the messenger of the year of the pear or Outlook) and lucky to have incorporated useful things such as DirectX 11 a program to create , delete or modify partitions.

-Almost all software is installed without problems so I guess the sites detected as Windows Vista and lowers your Vista drivers, because when I did not detect downloaded the Vista 32-bit version and installed it perfectly ....

-Programs that I have installed and work perfectly:
Google Chrome, RapGet, Songbird, Media Player Codeck Pack, Windows Live Messenger, Voipbuster, Nero Lite 8, Virtual Clone Drive, Foxit Reader, WinRAR and a couple of games.

-I installed programs do not work well:
Skype crashes when you feel like (this at least warned the facility may not work well)
Virtual Clone Drive does not mount images. Mdf
Creative Zen Vision M Software does not work, mtp driver that brings not seem to recognize the player (which if you Songbird).

-Programs that I could not install:
Alcohol 120 is not installed by the incompatibility issue SPTD version.

GAMES:

Windows 7 comes with DirectX 11 by default (to check written to the command prompt DXDIAG)

I installed without problems and MotoGP08 NBA 2K9, but do not start saying a missing library. The downloadable solution that I think it's DirectX 9.0c

It is understood that DirectX 11 does not play because it theoretically does not exist yet, hence we have to install DirectX "if exists"

PEGAS:

Like Windows XP takes to shut down and started a lot, I would say that something other than Windows XP. I hope to settle it in the next beta.

CONCLUSION:

Windows 7 has left me really impressed, I've only used Vista for more than 5 minutes, they say is a chestnut on basic issues such as excessive system requirements, and expected that Windows 7 was slightly better than Vista, but still worse than XP. Fortunately, Windows 7 is much better than Windows XP I believe in absolutely every aspect, at least if it is in 2 of the most basic and performance management.

Many were dead at the MS, which does not mean taking the market share you have, but I think we still have much to say in the world of operating systems.

On my computer using XP, Leopard and Ubuntu, not in order of preference and depending on the time or whatever it was used more to do either.
Now I have clear that using Windows 7, Ubuntu and Leopard, but I do it is because lately much use Skype to talk to my girlfriend and I like to play MotoGP08 (without mounting the mdf mini-image I can not).

Everyone has a place in my laptop, as I believe that none of the 3 SO I mention have it all:

Ubuntu to do strange things.

Windows 7 for gaming, things that can only be done in Windows (or Ubuntu after tinkering for a while), internet surfing, listen to music or watch movies (because I manage energy better than Ubuntu on the laptop).

Leopard for when you need to get with Dreamweaver, Photoshop, or Apple product you have mono.
